The Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) is a UK based technology innovation centre and the process arm of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult.
We were actively involved in the creation of the centre and then its strategic oversight through our MD being a Governing Board member of Innovate UK.
We have undertaken a number of joint projects delivering innovation to the chemical process industry.
IChemE is the hub for chemical engineering, biochemical and process engineering professionals worldwide.
As Technical VP and then President, our MD delivered the Technical Road Map strategy which evolved into Chemical Engineering Matters2 which is updated annually. He also led the Biofutures Study, promoting the use and exploitation of Engineering Biology.
The Academy brings together the most successful and talented engineers from across the engineering sectors for a shared purpose: to advance and promote excellence in engineering.
Our MD founded and led the Enterprise Hub which supported university spin outs and start-ups with modest financial support but very powerful mentoring, training, networking and business growth support and has achieved remarkable results. Since formation in 2013, it has supported the creation of 101 early stage companies, which have raised almost £150million in follow on funding for post money valuation of circa £200million. The Hub has also helped and advised 85 SMEs. Just under 650 jobs have been created. Shott Trinova has provided, mentors, workshops, presentations and keynote speakers.
The Society is a not for profit organisation with a heritage spanning 175 years that invests in educating future generations of Scientists.
We have facilitated workshops on strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship.
SCI is a global network of innovators, formed in 1881 by prominent scientists, inventors and entrepreneurs, with whom we have been associated for the last two decades.
We have assisted in the formulation and delivery of the Industry Strategy through the Chemistry Council, with a special focus on Innovation involving workshops, presentations and key-note speeches.
